The course covers health and safety, physical care of children and young adults, supporting children’s development, working in a team, working in partnership with parents.
Course Content
The course includes the following:
- NVQ Level 2 (6 compulsory units and 1 optional unit)
- Technical Certificate Level 2
- Key Skills in Application of Number and Communication
- First Aid Certificate
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities
- Assessment in the Workplace
You will be responsible for collecting evidence from your workplace.
Personal Requirements
Good organisational and communication skills. Ability to work as a team
member.
The duration of this programme is 18 months - 2 years.
